Changes in retail? Yes, please! The RetailOneSolution Network is pleased about the well-attended presentation at the Retail Working Group of the German-speaking SAP User Group e.V. (DSAG). On September 22, 2022, the SAP partner network had the opportunity to report on the successful cooperation with the Freenet Group on site at SAP in Walldorf.
Tobias Siltmann (hokona GmbH) and Jürgen Werner (CAS AG) from the RetailOneSolution Network presented the freenet AG Group's case. Dipl.-Ing. Wioletta Dorr, Head of Department at the Freenet Group, "sent" the two IT experts to represent the freenet AG to report on the implementation within the company in the presentation "Store merchandise management with omnichannel checkout processes - fully fiscalized and in the cloud". The two were supported by the "third" member of the RetailOneSolution Network: Stephan Kaup (Consult-SK GmbH).
Stefan Binkowski (SAP) gave a very fitting presentation on the challenges facing the retail sector and what needs to be considered. The title of the presentation "Intelligent store and intelligent merchandise management - everything from a single source?" was just as fitting as the term "unified commerce", which was added ad hoc during the event.
